Nevaeh Takahashi

Nevaeh is so happy to be back at her second home, doing the thing she loves with the people she loves. Nevaeh is a recent graduate of Glenwood High School in New Boston, Ohio and will be attending Wright State University this fall for B.S. in Organizational Leadership. Beetlejuice Jr will be Nevaeh’s 21st show with the players. You may have recently seen her in roles such as Princess Fiona (Shrek the Musical, VRCFA in Portsmouth, Ohio) or Anne Boleyn (Six: Teen Edition). Nevaeh is endlessly grateful for the Paramount and would love to thank and dedicate this performance to everyone who has assisted in her growth for the past six years: Her educators, directors, friends, boyfriend, and most importantly, her family.

Khloe is a dedicated student-athlete who enjoys participating in soccer, basketball, track, band, and choir while maintaining a strong commitment to her academics. Although she loves being active, her greatest passion is performing. Singing and acting have given her the confidence to express herself, tell meaningful stories, and connect with audiences. Theatre has also introduced her to many incredible people, creating lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. Khloe loves stepping on stage, challenging herself with new roles, and continuing to grow as both a performer and a person. She is excited to share her passion and creativity through every performance. You might’ve also seen her as Lavender in Matilda the musical, as well as Wendy in The Paramounts production of Peter pan! Khloe would also like to shout out her step mom dani, for constantly being there for her and helping her have a better chance of success with her acting career.  She hopes you all enjoy the show!

A rising sophomore at Lawrence County High School, Lane is thrilled to be reprising the role of Adam Maitland for his first show with the Paramount Players. 

Audiences may have seen him as the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland Jr., &, most recently, as Will Parker in Oklahoma!: Youth Edition, all taking place at Mountain Movers Theatre Company in Louisa, KY. In his last performance of Beetlejuice Jr., he also played the role of Adam Maitland. 

Lane is monumentally grateful to the Paramount Arts Center & his Paramount Players directors & cast mates for being unbelievably welcoming, as well as his parents, friends, & girlfriend for being endlessly supportive.

Shylan is thrilled to be making her Paramount Players debut as Barbara Maitland in Beetlejuice Jr. She is a recent graduate of RWHS, where she participated in Chamber Choir, Choir, and Drama Club. This fall, she will attend Northern Kentucky University to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance. Shylan would like to thank everyone who has supported and encouraged her throughout her journey, especially the Paramount Players for this incredible opportunity, her mom and sister for their endless love and support, and her high school director, Bugs Reinhardt, for believing in her and helping her grow as a performer. Samantha Thompson

Samantha Thompson is thrilled to be making her Paramount Players debut in Beetlejuice JR. A recent graduate of Portsmouth West High School, she will attend Morehead State University this fall to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education. Beetlejuice JR. marks Samantha’s first production with the Paramount Players and her 30th show total before beginning her college journey. Audiences may have recently seen her as Persephone in Portsmouth West High School’s production of Hadestown or as Gingy in Portsmouth Area Arts Council’s production of Shrek the Musical. Samantha is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform with the Paramount Players and would like to thank her directors, cast mates, friends, and family for their unwavering encouragement and support throughout her theatre journey all these years!

Payton is so honored to portray the fabulous Miss Argentina in Beetlejuice Jr! She is an upcoming junior at Boyd County High School where she is involved in extracurriculars such as Choir and FBLA. You may have seen her as Catherine of Aragon in Six:Teen Edition, or Karen the Computer in SpongeBob:The Musical. This marks her 4th production with the Paramount Players and there is no other group she’d rather share the stage with than her family at the Paramount!

Elijah will soon be attending Morehead State University in the Honors program, majoring in psychology with a minor in theatre. This is his first production with the Paramount players, thought you may have seen him as Hades in Portsmouth West High School's production of Hadestown or as Shrek in PACT's production of Shrek the Musical.

José Dixon

José is an upcoming 8th grader and is excited to return to the stage for his second production with the Paramount Players. He is honored to portray Maxie Dean and is eager to continue growing as a performer, learning from this talented cast and crew, and bringing this fun story to life. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Avery is excited to return to the Paramount Players stage as Maxine Dean in Beetlejuice JR. Some of her favorite past roles include Young Elsa in Frozen, Susan Waverly in White Christmas, Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh KIDS, Marie in The Aristocats KIDS, Little Anastasia in Anastasia, Flounder Understudy/Windward in The Little Mermaid, and Fan in A Christmas Carol. Avery also had the honor of playing Annie in Annie Jr. with Mountain Movers Theatre in Louisa, Kentucky.

Charlotte is thrilled to be taking the stage in Beetlejuice JR as Juno. This is her 14th show with the Paramount Players. She is a student at Paul G. Blazer High School, her past credits include her debut in Matilda, The Oracle in Percy Jackson, The Narrator in Puffs, Edgar in Aristocats JR, and Teary Girl in Mean Girls JR. When she isn't at the Paramount running lines, she can often be found at the archery range or doing service work with Key Club where she is the Public Relations Committee Director. She would like to thank her theatre family and friends for their endless support.

Naly is excited to return to the Paramount Players stage as Sky in Beetlejuice Jr. A member of the Paramount Players family for the past four years, this is her 13th production with the company. Some of her favorite roles include Roquefort the Mouse in The Aristocats Kids, Young Anna in Frozen The Musical, and Young Fiona in Shrek. Naly is grateful for the friendships, memories, and opportunities theater has given her, and she thanks the directors, cast, crew, and her family for their unwavering support. Bentley is thrilled to be returning to the Paramount Players stage as Machete Groom in Beetlejuice Jr. This marks his third production with the Paramount Players, and he couldn’t be more excited to be part of this wonderfully weird show! Audiences may have seen Bentley as a member of the Lollipop Guild in The Wizard of Oz and in the Ensemble of The SpongeBob Musical. Bentley has loved growing as a performer with each production and is grateful for the friendships and memories he’s made along the way. Harper is excited to take the stage for another production at the Paramount Theater. She will be entering 8th grade in the fall and has been in theater productions with the Paramount Players since she was 8 years old. Harper has also been involved in shows with the First Stage Theatre Company and the Aspire! Conservatory of Fine and Performing Arts. When not on the theater stage, she stays busy playing keyboard and performing vocals as a member of the Tri-State Rock Academy.

I have just graduated Charles Russell Elementary school, and I am going to Ashland Middle. My favorite thing to do is sing, and dance. Kennedy is thrilled to haunt the stage in her 5th Paramount Players production, appearing as Mover 1 in Beetlejuice Jr. Her previous credits include SIX: Teen Edition (Pre-Show Chorus), The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin), Frozen (Ensemble), and The SpongeBob Musical (Ensemble). Theater has become one of Kennedy’s greatest passions, and she is so grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and perform alongside such a talented cast and creative team. She would like to thank her directors, choreographers, crew, cast mates, friends, and especially her family for their endless love, encouragement, and support. Kennedy hopes this delightfully strange production leaves you laughing, singing along, and embracing the wonderfully weird.

Jenny is thrilled to make her Paramount Players debut! She has loved bringing characters to life in DescendantsA Christmas StoryNewsies Jr., and Shrek with the Portsmouth Area Arts Council, and most recently splashed onto the stage as Dory in Finding Nemo Kids with Greenup Mousketeer Theatre. Her favorite role so far has been Mary Beth in A Christmas Story. When she’s not on stage, Jenny enjoys making memories with her theater family and is especially thankful for the friends and mentors who have encouraged her along the way, especially Sarah Brehm and Sam Thompson.

Scotlyn is so excited to be apart of the Beetlejuice cast. When she isn’t on stage she is a hardworking student and aspiring digital artist. She spends hours sketching on her phone. Her favorite past roles include Little Anastasia in PWHS’ production of Anastasia and Roo in Winnie the Pooh. She thanks her mom and grandma for all their love and support and her Aunt for encouraging her to do theatre and being her chauffeur. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

Chloe is thrilled to be a part of Beetlejuice as a member of the ensemble! This is her third production with Paramount Players, and she has also had the opportunity to perform in several productions outside the company. Previous credits include Frozen, and SpongeBob the Musical with the Paramount Players, as well a school production of The Grunch. She loves performing with friends, who together have done The Outsiders , A Christmas Carol and The Heathers Teen Edition. Chloe is incredibly grateful for every opportunity to learn and grow as a performer and loves bringing stories to life on stage.

Vortex Fritz is making their debut at the Paramount Theatre! A graduate at Valley High School, going to Shawnee State to fulfull a degree in Adolescent Literature, Vortex has been known to do shows in many theatres such as PLT, PAAC, OVTG, and more! Racking up over 50 show credits, Vortex has also appeared in 2 Movies directed by C.D Bailey, writing a producing a book series on his own with a full casted audiobook, a video game, and another movie and audiobook coming up, both of which they get to do alongside their father, who four years before performing, took them to see Beetlejuice on tour, and two years later helped them meet Alex Brightman!

Vortex would love to thank their mom, dad, stepdad, and little sister Via for helping their dream into being an actor come true, even if it seems strenuous.

Beetlejuice JR. marks Lucy's 14th production with The Paramount Players on the historic Paramount stage. In Lucy's downtime, she enjoys archery, playing the drums & reading. Lucy is excited for the opportunity to dance alongside her friends in this delightfully strange production! A couple years ago I found Hamilton, and fell completely in love. It has inspired me to become apart of the theatre world. This is my 3rd show! I was ensemble in Frozen, and The SpongeBob Musical. I'm so excited to be part of the ensemble in Beetlejuice! I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing program! It's made me truly appreciate and be in awe of the art that goes into it. This has been a blessing and I have had the best time, and made some great friends! Thank you so much!

Olivia Wheeler (Ensemble) is 9 years old and attends Russell-McDowell Intermediate School. She is so excited to be making her debut with the Paramount Players. Olivia also enjoys tumbling, playing softball, loves all things cats and her favorite color is purple! Olivia has been performing locally in other plays for the past 3 years and is looking forward to being part of the Beetlejuice Jr.  production. She dedicates this play to her Mamaw Julie, for believing in her and helping her find her passion for theatre!

Vivanie is proud to make her return to the stage in the Paramount Players' production of Beetlejuice Jr. This will mark her ninth performance with the Paramount Players. Previous acting credits include Lavender(Matilda the musical Jr.), Small Brave Girl(Peter Pan Jr.) and Braggart(Wizard of Oz). She is involved in multiple theater groups within our area and spends most of her free time honing her acting and singing skills.
