Tyler Kinser
Tyler Kinser (SpongeBob SquarePants), a native of Belfry, Kentucky, started doing theatre at age 17. Not having any local theatre in his hometown, he would drive an hour every day after school to Logan for rehearsal. He has since been doing theater for 9 years now. Some of his known roles are Rum Tum Tugger in Southern Coalition for The Arts production of CATS, Angel Dumott Schunard in The Paramount Player’s production of RENT, and The Scarecrow in The Paramount Player's production of Wizard of Oz. Tyler is so grateful to be bringing this iconic character to life, and is most excited for the children of Ashland, KY to join him in celebrating The Best Day Ever!

Rick is the Artistic Director for the Paramount Arts Center. With his theatrical work ranging from Shakespeare to rock opera, Rick is the 2016 Southeastern Theatre Conference's (SETC's) award recipient of Outstanding Achievement in a Musical Performance, the five-time Paramount Joe Awards recipient of Outstanding Direction, the two-time Paramount Joe Awards recipient of Best Supporting Actor, the two-time Paramount Joe Awards recipient of Outstanding Costuming, the Paramount Joe Awards recipient of Outstanding Dance, a nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actor by the International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA), and received the 2021 Friend of Music Award from the Kentucky Music Educators Association. Rick has directed/co-directed, costumed, choreographed, and/or performed many shows. He was born in Ironton, OH, received his BA and BS from Ohio University, and his MA from the University of Dayton.

Mark is excited to be playing Eugene Krabs. Mark was last seen onstage as Hertz Klineman in “Rock of Ages”. Past roles with The Players include, Wilbur In “Hairspray”, Mr. Brunner/Chiron in “The Lightning Thief”, Vlad Popov in “Anastasia”, The Narrator in “The Rocky Horror Show”, Marley in "A Christmas Carol”, The Narrator /Mysterious Old Man in "Into the Woods”, Harry-"Mamma Mia", George Banks-"Mary Poppins", Van Helsing-"Dracula", Mr. Mushnick-“The Little Shop of Horrors”, Jim-“All Shook Up”, Cogsworth-“Beauty and the Beast”, and Herr Schultz-“Cabaret. Mark has performed with various theatre companies for over 20 years. Past shows include “Kiss Me, Kate” (Fred Graham/Petruchio), “Sweeney Todd” (Sweeney), The Secret Garden (Archibald)), “Camelot” (King Arthur), “Bat Boy” (Dr. Parker), Noises Off (Fredrick), Harvey (Dr. Chumley). Mark is from Flatwoods, KY and works as a Pharmacy Technician at UK/Kings Daughters Medical Center.

Sidney is delighted to be diving into the world of Bikini Bottom and bringing this iconic role to life! Favorite credits include Barb (Stranger Sings), Sally Bowles (Cabaret), Anastasia (Anastasia), Natalie Goodman (Next to Normal), Cain/Yonah (Children of Eden), Sue Snell (Carrie), and many more. She would like to thank her endlessly supportive friends and family!

Breckyn is a Sophomore at Wheelersburg High School. She has been performing with the Paramount Player since she was 8 years old. Besides performing, Breckyn plays soccer. She is so appreciative of the support she has received from family, friends, the paramount players (who are definitely family and friends) and coaches as she balances her love for both performing and soccer. Breckyn can’t wait to show a different side to her performance skills with this role.

She is so happy the Paramount Players are back on the stage where they belong and would like to thank her friends and family of course, but also Matt and Rick for never giving up on us. Known for her high energy, expressive movement, and strong stage presence, she loves bringing characters to life through both acting and dance.

Rebecca is happy to be joining the Paramount Players in this production. Prior to being an aquatic authoritarian, she has brought Mother (Christmas Story, the Musical), Martha (White Christmas), Sally (Percy Jackson, the Musical), Cruella (Descendants) and Mrs. Phelps (Matilda!) to the stage. When not playing a slightly power-hungry sea creature, she enjoys gardening, cooking, a good latte, and spending time with her family and friends. After seizing control of Bikini Bottom (see also: “helping”), she plans to spend time with those she loves most, and would like to thank for their support: her husband Shonte’, and children Javon, Victoria, Isabella, and Donovan, as well as all extended family and friends. Rebecca would also like to remind you that while the sea of life is big and sometimes can be scary, Jesus loves you and with Him, you are NOT alone!

Thaddius "Tad" Barker is a local performer both on screen and onstage, having been involved in the productions of several theater companies in the surrounding Tri-State area (e.g., Paramount, Backstage Players, ACTC, Red Lion, 5th Avenue Theatre Company, Portsmouth Little Theater). Some of his more notable roles are Dracula in Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', The Beast in 'Beauty and the Beast', Ichabod Crane in 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow', Harry Roat Jr. In 'Wait Until Dark', and King Agnarr in 'Frozen the Musical'. In his day to day life, Thaddius is a licensed therapist, a Mentalist/Illusionist, a father, and a husband who enjoys reading, writing, learning, movies, video games, and experiencing new things.

Spongebob marks her 56th production with the Paramount Players! You may have seen her lighting up the stage in the leading role of Tracy Turnblad in the Players’ recent production of ‘Hairspray’. She is so thankful to Rick and Matt for the opportunities they have not only given to her but to kids and adults through this community She is surrounded by so much support including family, friends, and co-workers. Avery is excited to perform in SpongeBob the Musical! Some of her favorite roles with the Paramount Players include Young Elsa in Frozen, Susan Waverly in White Christmas, Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh Kids, Marie in Aristocrats Kids, Little Anastasia in Anastasia, Flounder Understudy/Windward in The Little Mermaid, and Fan in A Christmas Carole. Avery also had the honor of playing Annie in Annie Jr. with Mountain Movers Theatre in Louisa, KY. She is a 7th grader at St. Joseph High School and loves to be on stage!

A chef and bartender by trade, he’s known for bringing a little chaos and a lot of energy wherever he lands, always turning a night behind the bar, or an evening cooking into a show of its own.

A 2026 early graduate of Paul Blazer High School and current student at ACTC, Aliyah is deeply involved in the performing arts as a member of the Blazer Theater Arts Society, a 2025 inductee of the International Thespian Society, and a 2026 inductee into the National Society of High School Scholars. Aliyah has been part of the Paramount Players for six years, lighting up the stage in standout roles like Kevin G (Mean Girls), Omar (Aladdin), Harry Potter (Puffs), Brad (Hairspray), Sven (Frozen), and more. Now, she’s ready to bring high-energy moves and electric vibes to Bikini Bottom as part of the Electric Skates—and as one of Patchy’s crewmen!

Blayde is a talented 12-year-old performer from Russell Middle School who is so excited to be part of The SpongeBob Musical! A natural on stage, he has graced previous productions including Willy Wonka and Seussical the Musical, and continues to grow with every performance. When he's not in the spotlight, Blayde channels his musical gifts into playing both violin and french horn. He brings passion, dedication, and a big smile to everything he does. I am loving being involved. This is my second show, my first being the Frozen Musical, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing program! Charlotte Phelps
Charlotte is excited to be part of this year’s SpongeBob production at the Paramount! She has performed in five mainstage productions and one pre-show at the Paramount, as well as three productions with Aspire Conservatory and three school plays.
Charlotte loves being on stage and especially enjoys the welcoming environment at the Paramount. When she first joined, the actors were incredibly kind and helped her feel right at home—especially Cinci, who made a big impression on her. Charlotte says the Paramount cast feels like family, and she looks forward to the summer productions, where rehearsals are filled with fun games, laughter, and lasting friendships.
