Sarah Brehm
as Tracy Turnblad

Sarah is so excited to be a part of this iconic musical. It has been a favorite of hers for years. She was part of the Paramount Player cast 14 years ago and this time she is so ready to take center stage as Tracy! Hairspray marks her 55th production with the Paramount Players! She is so thankful to Rick and Matt for seeing something in her and giving her the chance to live her dream. She is surrounded by so much support including family, friends, and co-workers. She hopes you all enjoy the show. As always this show is dedicated to her personal angel, her dad, who has the best seat in the house! “You can’t stop the beat!”

 

Levi Kelley
as Edna Turnblad

Levi is thrilled to be reprising the role of Edna Turnblad on the Paramount stage, after having previously played the role in Huntington Outdoor Theatre’s 2013 production of Hairspray, their 20th and final show.  He is especially excited to share the stage with his fiancé, Tyler, who is playing Link Larkin, and he’s so unbelievably proud of him. On the Paramount stage you may remember him as Mark Cohen in RENT, Bob Wallace in White Christmas, Dustin in Stranger Sings, Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, and Tsar Nicholas ll in Anastasia. He wants to thank Rick and Matt for giving him this incredible opportunity. Enjoy the show, and love each other. 

 

Tyler Kinser
as Link Larkin

Tyler a native of Belfry, Kentucky, started doing theatre at age 17. Not having any local theatre in his hometown, he would drive an hour every day after school to Logan for rehearsal. His great grandmother, Nola Kinser, saw an audition in her local newspaper and mailed it to him and encouraged him to audition. That production was The Aracoma Story’s production of Hairspray, where he played council member Fender. 9 years later, now returning to the show that started it all, he dedicates this performance to her, who passed away the day he was cast as Link. He wouldn’t be here today if she hadn’t encouraged him to audition for that show.

 

Hillary Herold
as Prudy Singleton

Hillary is very happy to be part of another show with the Paramount Players. Past roles include Bea in Something Rotten (Alchemy Theater), Tsarina Alexandra in Anastasia, and Stepmother in Into the Woods  with the Paramount Players, as well as many ensemble and understudy roles. She holds a BFA focusing on Vocal Performance and a MA in Music History from Marshall University. An active performer, she has participated in several musicals, operas, and concerts both in the tristate area and internationally. She would like to thank her mom and her husband for their constant support.

Drew A. Acree
as Mr. Pinky

Drew is over the moon to be a part of Hairspray! This is his first show with the Paramount Players and he has had an incredible time with the cast, crew, and producers. He would love to take a minute and thank his Husband, Mother, Sisters, family and chosen family! He wants you to come join us in the 60’s and enjoy your time!

 

Courtlyn Lewis
as Penny Singleton

In 2011, eleven-year-old Courtlyn was cast in her first Paramount Players production. She was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to sing, dance and show off her newly acquired back handsprings during the finale. That show was… Hairspray! All she talked about was Penny Pingleton, and how much she wanted to play Penny someday when she was older. Now, 14 years and 25 musical productions later, her childhood dream has come true! So, sit back, relax and enjoy watching a bucket list performance with Courtlyn as Penny and this phenomenal cast!

Addison Conley
as Lou Ann

Addison is an 18 year old senior at Boyd County High School. She has been a Paramount Player for over 5 years. Outside of theatre, Addison is an avid musician. She participates in her school’s band and choir. After graduation she plans to attend Morehead State University and major in Commercial Music. Hairspray is an absolute dream show for Addison and she is so excited to do this as her senior show. She has absolutely loved this experience and working with so many amazing people. She hopes you enjoy the show!

 

MJ Lucki
as IQ

MJ is so excited to be back at The Paramount starring in Hairspray! MJ is 11 years old and is a student at Ponderosa Elementary School. This will be his 6th show with the Paramount Players. This has been an unbelievable experience for him and he cannot wait to perform tonight! He would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Sister (Gianna), Mimi Kathy and Pap Pap for their love and support. He would also like to say a special thank you to his family, friends, and teachers who have come out to support him this evening.

 

Mark Baker
as Wilbur

Mark is so excited to be playing Wilbur. Mark was last seen onstage as Mr. Brunner/Chiron in The Lightning Thief. Past roles with The Players include, Vlad Popov in Anastasia,  The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, Marley in A Christmas Carol, The Narrator /Mysterious Old Man in Into the Woods, Harry in Mamma Mia, George Banks in Mary Poppins, Van Helsing in Dracula, Mr. Mushnick in The Little Shop of Horrors, Jim in All Shook Up, Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, and Herr Schultz in Cabaret. Mark has performed with various theatre companies for over 20 years. Past shows include Kiss Me, Kate (Fred Graham/Petruchio), Sweeney Todd (Sweeney), The Secret Garden (Archibald), Camelot (King Arthur), Bat Boy (Dr. Parker), Noises Off (Fredrick), Harvey (Dr. Chumley). Mark is from Flatwoods, KY and works as a Pharmacy Technician at UK/Kings Daughters Medical Center, as well as Choir Director for Kuhn Memorial Presbyterian Church in Barboursville, WV. 

Heather Moore
as Velma Von Tussle

Heather has been with the Paramount Players since 2022 and joined the Touring Cast in 2023 for The Rocky Horror Show. This will be her 6th time appearing on the Paramount Art Center stage and first time performing in Hairspray. She may be playing the snobbish villain, Velma Von Tussle, but in real life she’s an advocate for acceptance, body positivity, and kindness. Teaching the importance of diversity to her students, as the school counselor, at Ponderosa Elementary. This show means a lot to her because the message presented is still something we need to incorporate into our daily lives. Heather wants to dedicate this show to her dynamic dude duo, Greg and Peyton, who constantly supports her in everything she does. 

Belle Fields
as Brenda

Belle is super excited to be involved in her 28th show with the players. She has played roles such as Taylor Mckessie in High School Musical 1&2 JR and The Cat in The Hat in Seussical Jr. She is also a first year at Shawnee State University as a Musical Theatre major. She wants to thank her big sister Zoie and her boyfriend Landon for being her top supporters. Welcome to the 60’s!

Aliyah Gibson
as Brad

Aliyah is a senior at Paul Blazer High School. When Aliyah isn’t on the stage, she enjoys sketching and designing outfits. Aliyah would like to thank everyone for coming out to the show and supporting the arts!

Diamond Montgomery
as Little Inez

Diamond is a 12 yr old 7th grader. This is her 5th play at the Paramount and her first lead role. She is so excited to be a part of this play and adores everyone in the Paramount Player family. She loves to sing, dance, act, draw, and hopes to become an actress and artist in the future.

Ava Kesling
as Nicest Kid-Dottie

Ava is excited to be back on the stage performing again. Ava has appeared in several Paramount Players productions and choirs over the past 9 years. You may have seen her recently in the The Lightning Thief, White Christmas, and The Little Mermaid. Last summer Ava attended the Open Jar Institute’s Broadway Intensive Program in New York City studying the performing arts. She will also be attending the program again this summer. When she is not performing, she’s either helping out backstage, making candy grams for shows, probably doing very flamboyant makeup on herself, or bedazzling something. Lucy Swim
as Ensemble

Lucy is excited to be returning to the stage in Hairspray! This will be her 9th production with the Paramount Players. In Lucy’s downtime, she enjoys archery, gymnastics, and playing the drums. Lucy is excited for the opportunity to dance alongside Tracy and Seaweed! She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her love of the arts. She hopes you all enjoy your time in Baltimore!

Dakota is excited to be apart of Hairspray. This is her first show with the Paramount Players and she has had so much excitement! She would like to thank her family and friends for their support. Hope you enjoy the show!

Savannah is so excited to be in the ensemble of Hairspray. During the day, Savannah works as a dental hygienist and in her free time enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, their three cats, and dog. Savannah would like to thank everyone for coming and hopes you enjoy the show!

Kendra Peters

Kendra is excited to join the Paramount Players in her first show with them Hairspray! She would love to thank her Husband for always being supportive of her dreams, her co-parents for pushing her to audition, her mom, dad, step-dad, and family for always pushing her to have fun. Plus, her friends at Mended Reeds and from Wilmington for always being her number one cheer squad!  Enjoy the show! 

Dusty Lynn VanHoose
as Ensemble

Dusty Lynn is so excited to be in her very first show of Hairspray. During the week, she works at KDMC and in her free time enjoys spending time with her love bug Oliver! Dusty would like to thank her Mom Sue, and her children Mikayla and Kyler for always being so supportive, her bestie Sam and Sis Becky for always encouraging her. To Misti, Autumn, Tosha, Mindi, Tyler and a very special friend Jonathan for supporting her wildest dreams and all her friends and family for loving her in all her crazy ways. Enjoy the show!

Kaitlyn Wood
as Ensemble

Kaitlyn is very excited to be performing with the Paramount Players again! Kaitlyn was previously seen with the Paramount Players in Back to the 80s (Ensemble), Cats (Griddlebone), Anastasia (Ensemble), Rent (Ensemble), and, most recently, White Christmas (Ensemble). Kaitlyn also portrayed Sue Snell in Carrie the Musical at Morehead State University. She studied Vocal Music and Psychology at MSU, where she received a B.A. in Music and an M.S. in Clinical Psychology. Kaitlyn was a member of several vocal ensembles during her college years, and she is so grateful to continue to be involved in music. She wants to thank her husband, Austin, and her beautiful girls, Lottie and Evie, for always supporting her passions. 

Vivanie Juliet Evans
as Ensemble

Vivanie is proud to make her return to the stage in Paramount Players’ production of Hairspray. She previously appeared in the ensemble for Paramount Players’ productions White Christmas and The Little Mermaid, and in the Paramount’s Summer Arts Academy’s staging of Aristocats Kids.  A two-time National and one-time World UCA NHSCC Champion cheerleader with Pride Athletics, Vivanie is delighted to have broadened her artistic palette to include singing and dancing in addition to cheerleading and tumbling. She would like to thank her family and friends–especially her Mom, Daddy Dave, and Caitie–for their continued loving support. 

Molly Moore
as Ensemble

This will be Mollie’s 5th show with the Paramount Players. She loves singing, dancing, crafting, makeup, and acting. Her favorite song from the show is “Mama, I’m a Big Girl Now”. She wants to dedicate this show to her family! 

Mattox Hale

Mattox is a 2024 graduate of Boyd County High School. She continued her education at Empower Academy where she just recently graduated as a Licensed Esthetician. She has been a part of the Paramount Players since she was 8 years old, and loves doing shows for the PAC when her schedule allows. Some of her favorite roles have been Laura Ingalls Wilder and Regina George. Mattox is a singer/songwriter and performs at many different venues and festivals across the state of Kentucky. She is so excited to be a part of this amazing production, and would like to thank all of her family and friends for supporting her on this journey.

Frederick Molinary

Frederick is excited to be participating in his 4th show here with the Paramount Players. Fredrick has been in Seussical, Aladdin, and Little Mermaid. He loves growing and learning about all things acting from his Paramount Player Family! 

Carly Salyer

Carly is thrilled to be in her fifth theatrical production and her third with the Paramount Players. She has loved process of bringing this show to life, especially learning all the choreography. Carly would like to say thank you to all the directors and choreographers for their hard work and dedication in putting this production together!

Charlotte Bloomer

Charlotte is so excited to be in their 12th show here at The Paramount! They have been Sargent Tibbs and Nana in 101 Dalmatians Jr, Judge Yertle the Turtle in Suessical Jr, Razoul in Aladdin Jr, Teary Girl in Mean Girls Jr, Edgar the Butler in Aristocats, and last but certainly not least, The Narrator in Puffs Jr. They go to Paul Blazer High School (Year 2028). Thank you so much and enjoy the show.

Kate Jackson

Kate couldn’t be more excited to be involved in the PAC’s second production of Hairspray! 14 years ago, the Player’s production of Hairspray was her first show! She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and currently works at CAMC Women’s and Children’s hospital as a mother/baby nurse. You’ve most recently seen her on this stage as Julia in The Wedding Singer,  Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical, and Eleven in Stranger Sings.

Cade Ball

Cade is thrilled to be taking The Paramount stage yet again! He currently works for Pathways and holds a degree in Criminal Justice. You’ve seen him on the Paramount stage before as Glenn Gulia in The Wedding Singer, Benny in Rent, and Jonathan in Stranger Sings. He would like to thank his family for all their support, and the Players for always welcoming him back with open arms.

Natalie Thomas

Natalie is a talented 11 year old that is so excited to be part of this show! This is her 10th show with the Paramount Players and absolutely loves being up there on stage! Shows she has been part of include; Christmas Story, Disney Descendants, High School Musical One and Two, Willy Wonka Jr., The Little Mermaid, Maltida, Aladdin, and Anastasia.  Other interest of Natalie‘s include singing, writing, reading, and drawing. Her family is so proud of her and thankful for this program that allows her to use her creativity and artistic talents!

McKenna McCaffery

McKenna is a freshman at Ironton High School. She is a member of the Key Club, Impact, Drama Dept, and Marching band. She has a little sister she adores and she loves her mom, dad, and brother dearly. She also wanted to thank her family and best friend for coming to see the show.

Leslie Hammond

Leslie is excited to be in another show with her theatre family! Leslie has been in several other productions as an actress, as well as helping out back stage. Her favorite role has been a Mersister during Little Mermaid. Leslie is a first grade teacher and is currently working on a Master’s degree in School Counseling. She is a member of the Ashland FUMC Chancel Choir and is a youth leader. Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and their 2 dogs and 3 cats. Every day is an adventure! When Leslie is not at the paramount, school, or church, she is more than likely at Disney World eating Dole Whip or walking around the world at Epcot with her sweet husband, Matt. She would like to remind everyone that changes are made through small actions overtime and that you should be proud of progress- no matter how small you may think it is! 

Noah

Noah is very excited to make his acting debut in the Paramount Players Production of Hairspray. He loves being a 4th grader at Crabbe Elementary. When he’s not in school, Henry enjoys spending time with his Mom, Dad, and playing baseball. He wants to thank his Mom and Dad for always picking him up from curricular activities and buying him Robux!

Faith

Faith is thrilled to be back with the paramount players performing in the Paramount Players Production of Hairspray. She has participated in 3 musicals/shows with The Paramount such as the Little Mermaid. She is a therapist with Regroup, owns her face painting business, loves to sing, but most of all help those in the community! Faith would like to thank all those involved in Hairspray, making this a life changing opportunity and experience.
